Christmas Tags using Simon Says Stamp Christmas Dies

Hello everyone, I am very eager to share my Christmas tag, which I made using Simon Says Stamp’s Christmas Dies. These tags are wonderful for gifts, to hang on your Christmas tree, or even as a cute card to send to someone in the office.

I first run this die through my die cutting machine. It took a few runs before I got a very clean cut. Next, I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter on the positive die cut and let it try. In the meantime, I prepare the base of the tag using a large circle die. You can also use any tag dies that you have. For each Christmas die I have, I will prepare two circle card base, one for the front and one for the back, so I can add notes and send a message to the recipient or the name of the recipient for each gift.

To make the background pop, I blended some Christmas colors, i.e. red & green & pink. I tried my hands on some pearlescent pigment ink as well to get a big more shimmer on the card.

Once I have all that done and the card base is dry, I adhere the Christmas dies using Elmer Adhesive Craft Spray. This spray is very sticky, I often get my fingers covered in adhesive and it was very difficult to remove. The results was great compared to using a glue stick as the adhesive is stronger.

Before I finish the card, I added some red& white twine and it is now ready to be hung on my Christmas tree, ready for mailing and to tag all those gift you prepared for Christmas.

Less than a week to Christmas, tell me you are as excited as I am! Let’s keep.intouched!
